At approximately 1500 hours, Company 34 was alerted to Brandamore Road in West Brandywine Township for a brush fire. Moments after dispatch Tac 34, Engine 34-5 and Ambulance 34-1 were enroute and were advised that it was called in from a neighbor across the street and it was now possibly a controlled burn. The 34 units arrived on the scene and met with the West Brandywine PD which requested us to extinguish the controlled burn. Tac 34 took position in the yard and extinguished the fire. Crews operated for just over 30 minutes before returning to service.
