Today, a crew of four volunteers loaded up in Engine 34-1 and headed to Station 5 to cover their area while they worked their carnival. The Engine arrived in East Whiteland at noon and was greated by the paid men who showed us around the station. Over the past several weeks, a couple of members have been working with Turpin Landscaping Incorporated which is located near the firehouse on Martin's Corner Road. We were looking to have some landscaping done on our property to spruce up the look of the front of the firehouse. This past week 2 members attended Chester County's Junior Fire Fighter Camp held at the West Chester fire training center by Chester County Emergency Service. Cody and Brooke and many other junior members of other companies attended this 40 hour class which came to an end at graduation on Friday June, 26th. Success, Despite The Rain

Today, a handfull of volunteers braved the downpours and made our first hoagie sale for the summer a success. Members loaded up in the Tac and Squad and made different deliveries to people with pre-ordered hoagies. Five Members Attend National Certification Testing in Bucks

On Saturday, June 7th, Fire Chief Dan Metzler and Chief Engineer Brian Flinn traveled to Bucks County Fire Training Center in Doylestown, Pa to take their certification in "Firefighter 1". Their day started off with registration before heading down to the training grounds to do the hands on section. The hands on skill testing consisted of 14 skill stations graded on a pass/fail system.
